Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign up Sergio Ramos' teammate and Real Madrid defender Pepe this summer.
The Red Devils have locked horns with the Spanish champions over Ramos in recent weeks,
However, the deal now looks unlikely with Ramos having agreed a long-team deal at the Bernabeu.
According to The Mirror, Pepe has been offered to United, with Real boss Rafael Benitez set to pair Ramos with young Frenchman Rafael Varane for the central defensive partnership next season.
