Chelsea have reached an agreement with Augsburg over the signing of defender Baba Rahman profile" alt="Abdul Baba Rahman profile">Abdul Baba Rahman, according to reports.
The Ghanaian international has been associated with a move to the Premier League champions in recent weeks, as a replacement for recently-departed Filipe Luis.
It was earlier claimed that the German side had rebuffed a £17m bid for the talented full-back.
However, The Guardian now cites that the Blues have increased their initial offer, and successfully sealed a deal for the highly-rated defender.
Furthermore, Rahman is thought to have agreed terms over a contract, and is expected to undergo a medical test with the West London giants later this week.
