Wolves place hefty price tag on Afobe

Wolverhampton Wanderers want &pound14m for Benik Afobe

26 August 2015 - 16:45

Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly slapped a &pound14m price tag on striker Benik Afobe.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • Afobe was the highest goal scorer in the football league with 32 goals in all competitions last season.

Norwich City are understood to have had three bids rejected for the former Arsenal graduate, and The Mirror now cites that the Wolves are reluctant to offload their star asset for anything less than &pound14m this summer.

The 22-year-old joined the Wolves from Arsenal last summer.
