Blues were deemed to be interested in the player\'s services over the summer, but never came back with a concrete offer.

Italian source Tuttomercatoweb now claims that the Blues will refresh their pursuit of the 24-year-old when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Manolas has also been on the radar of local rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur over the past year.
