  • The Portuguese sensation spent six glorious years at United guiding them to three Premier League titles and the Champions League crown in the 2007/08 season.

Ronaldo moved on to Real Madrid in 2009, where he has earned the reputation of being one of the best attackers in the game of football.

However, recent reports have cited that the 30-year-old could call quits on his Real career next summer due to his poor relationship with manager Rafael Benitez.

The Mirror now understands that United may seek to bring their former star back to Old Trafford in a &pound90m deal come the January transfer window.

It is added that United are willing to offer him with a long-term deal on wages in excess of £15m-a-year.
