Argentinian defender Marcos Rojo could be heading for a transfer out of Old Trafford in the January window. Italian reports suggest that Serie A side Napoli are weighing up a 7.8 million euro move for the left back.
An approach for Rojo could well be rebuffed by Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal though, who is concerned that a long term injury to Luke Shaw leaves him with a shortage of defensive cover at the back.
Napoli have long been monitoring Rojo and were amongst the sides competing to sign the Argentine back in 2014 when he first made a transfer to Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old very nearly made a transfer to Monaco in the summer transfer window as a part of the deal that brought striker Anthony Martial to Man Utd.
Rojo has just under three years remaining on his Red Devils contract.
