Newcastle United are keen on re-signing former defender Mathieu Debuchy in the New Year, according to reports.
The France international left the Magpies for a switch to the Gunners in the summer of 2014.
However, he has failed to stamp a starting place at the North London giants, with manager Arsene Wenger favouring young right-back Hector Bellerin ahead of him in the pecking order.
The Star now reports that the 30-year-old will seek a fresh challenge away from the Emirates after he failed to win a place in the latest France squad.
It is added that the Magpies will fight it out with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco for the player's services in the winter transfer window.
Debuchy has made just one league start for the Gunners this term.
