Liverpool have confirmed the arrival of Jurgen Klopp as their new manager on a three-year contract worth £15m.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The 48-year-old replaces Brendan Rodgers who was sacked following the Reds' 1-1 draw at Everton in the Premier League last weekend.

Klopp was expected to be on a season-long sabbatical having left his head coach role at Borussia Dortmund in May.

However, he was gratified by the job offer at Anfield, and decided to cut short on his year long holiday.

It is also thought that the German coach will bring in his former assistants in Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz to Merseyside.

The Reds are currently 10th in the league standings.
