Chelsea will reportedly look to land the services of midfielder James Rodriguez from Real Madrid next summer.
The Colombian international joined Los Blancos from AS Monaco in 2014 following his exploits at the World Cup in Brazil.
Rodriguez made a great impression in his first season with the Spanish giants, and this led to claims that he could find himself a potent force in the club's attack in years to come.
However, the 24-year-old suffered a series of injuries this campaign, and this has displaced him from a starting role under Rafa Benitez.
Spanish source Fichajes now reveals that the Blues are weighing up a potential deal for the talented attacker, who is known to have fallen out with Benitez in recent weeks.
Rodriguez has made just four league starts for Los Blancos this term.
