Interim Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has reportedly revealed his transfer plans for the New Year.
The Dutchman is expected to take charge at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the 2015-16 season.
Spanish outlet Fichajes claims that the 69-year-old has asked the club's hierarchy to look into a deal for unsettled Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez.
It is added that the Colombian international could seek a fresh challenge as he does not get down well with Real manager Rafael Benitez.
Chelsea have made a dismal start to their league defence, and currently find themselves in 15th place with 18 points.
