The Argentina international has been tipped to leave the French giants when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Recent speculation had suggested that the former Napoli man could find himself at Stamford Bridge after his agent held negotiations with Blues officials.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Nerazzurri are firmly leading the pursuit, and could wrap up the player's services on a pre-contract this month.

Lavezzi has racked over 150 appearances for Les Parisiens since his move from Napoli in 2012.
