Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy looks set to join Bordeaux on loan for the rest of the season.
The France international has been tipped to leave the Gunners this month after falling below the likes of  Hector Bellerin and Calum Chambers in the pecking order for the right-back role.
According to French outlet L'Equipe, the experienced full-back has agreed to link up with Bordeaux on a temporary basis for the remainder of the campaign.
It is added that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had initially rejected an approach from Manchester United before allowing the player to seek a return to his homeland.
Debuchy made just two league appearances for Arsenal during the first half of the season.
