Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny looks set to return to Arsenal at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old linked up with Italian side AS Roma on a season-long loan last summer after he fell below the likes of Petr Cech and David Ospina in the pecking order at the Emirates.
Since then, he has had a decent showing, and this led to claims that the Giallorossi could eye a permanent contract for the player.
However, The Mirror claims that the Serie A outfit have decided against the move after they failed to reach an agreement over a transfer fee.
Roma are reported to have found a better replacement with Brazil international Allison Becker set to link up from Internacional in the off-season.
