Jagielka set for China move?

12 February 2016 - 13:41

Everton defender Phil Jagielka could find himself in the Chinese Super League next season, reports reveal.

  • Man Utd without four players for Bournemouth clash
  • Liam Rosenior on Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea future

  • The 33-year-old centre-back has racked over 300 appearances for the Toffees since his move from Sheffield United in 2007.

According to The Express, the England international could consider his future at Goodison Park following the emergence of Ramiro Funes Mori.

It is added that several Chinese clubs are monitoring Jagielka's situation, and a move could be in the offing in the summer.

Funes Mori played alongside John Stones during the first half of the season, when Jagielka was nursing a knee injury.
