Incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will seek to land the services of former player Toni Kroos from Real Madrid this summer.
The German international left Bayern Munich to join Real Madrid following a successful World Cup in 2014.
According to Spanish outlet AS, the Spaniard is a huge admirer of the World Cup winner, and will look to lure him to the Etihad at the end of the season.
Kroos is said to be disillusioned with life at the Bernabeu, and has been tipped to seek fresh pastures during the off-season.
The arrival of the 26-year-old could well see the exit of Yaya Toure from the Mancunian giants.
