Two-Way Battle for Ter Stegen

Man City want Ter Stegen

29 February 2016 - 08:02

Manchester City look set to rival Liverpool in the bid to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

  • Chelsea set to sign Crystal Palace star for £47m
  • Man Utd aiming to beat Liverpool to 25yo midfielder

  • The Citizens are expected to make a move for a new shot-stopper in the summer with back-up Willy Caballero likely to make way at the end of the season.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a deal for the German international, who is said to be unsettled at Camp Nou.

However, according to The Mirror, Incoming City boss Pep Guardiola will seek to beat the Reds to the services of the 23-year-old keeper.

Ter Stegen has had a tough time at Barcelona with the majority of his playing time coming in the Cup and European games.
