The 46-year-old has been tipped to take over the managerial reigns from interim boss Guus Hiddink during the off-season.

A report from The Sun understands that the former Juventus man will hold a meeting with Blues owner Roman Abramovich during the week before penning a three-year deal with the West London side.

It is also known that Conte will fulfill his European commitments with the Azzurri before linking up with the Blues in the summer.

Chelsea are currently 11th in the Premier League with 36 points.
