Real Madrid want Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri to be their next manager, and they are willing to pay the Italian €7m-per-year, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Former AC Milan coach Allegri had been strongly linked with the Chelsea job, but that post now seems to be going to his compatriot Antonio Conte.
Madrid are said to be weighing up their managerial options, with the ten-time European champions falling further behind league leaders Barcelona since Zinedine Zidane replaced Rafa Benitez in January this year.
Germany coach Joachim Low and Tottenham Hotspur's Mauricio Pochetinno have also recently been linked with the manager's job at the Bernabeu.
