  • The France international is the final months of his contract at Marseille, and talks have stalled regarding a contract extension.

According to The Mirror, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez will seek to offer a contract to the Frenchman this summer as he looks to provide stiff competition to Joel Robles for the number one role.

It is added that the arrival of a new shot-stopper could well the see the exit of veteran Premier League star Tim Howard.

Mandanda has earned 21 caps with his national side.
