James Rodriguez for Eden Hazard?

Real open to Hazard swap

James Rodriguez for Eden Hazard?

Real Madrid are willing to offer James Rodriguez in a straight exchange deal Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard. The Belgian international is understood to be considering his future at Stamford Bridge following a below-par spell in the Premier League.

  • Hazard has struggled to replicate the form of last season that saw his side lift the league title after a five-year wait.

Recent speculation had suggested that the Belgian international has made up his mind for a move to the Bernabeu in spite of the Blues' placing a hefty £100m price tag on his head.

According to The Sun, Spanish giants Real Madrid are unlikely to lodge such a substantial offer for Hazard, given his lack of progress over the past year.

However, Zinedine Zidane's side would be willing to do business, should Chelsea prefer to land Colombian star James Rodriguez in a player-swap deal for Hazard.

Hazard has scored just two goals in all competitions for the Blues this campaign.
