Chris Coleman has ended his six-month reign in Spain as he quit as coach of Real Sociedad today. Coleman has been linked with several jobs in England, and resigned after revealing disappointment with the arrival of a new chairman.
"Things have changed with the arrival of Badiola because there are now two different ways of seeing the club and of working,â Coleman said. âWe are leaving our posts with great sadness as this is a fantastic club.â
The Welsh coachâs assistant, Steve Kean, has also resigned. Coleman said he wouldnât claim payment for the remaining 30 months of his contract.
âThe club neednât worry about this. Money wasnât why we signed for Real. If that was true, we could have earned more in England."
