Loic Remy set for Chelsea exit

France international Loic Remy is almost certain to leave Chelsea following his lack of playing time this season. The 29-year-old had been strongly linked with moves to Crystal Palace and Swansea City last winter but he opted to stay put at the Premier League holders.

  • Remy has since then had a similar situation at Stamford Bridge with Diego Costa retaining the striker's role while young graduate Bertrand has earned few minutes as deputy.

Le 10 Sport suggests that the former Marseille star will seek a move to a fresh club after failing to convince the Blues of his ability.

It is added that the player would prefer a stay in the Premier League given his experience playing in the top flight.

Remy, who is currently out with a groin problem, has two years left on his current Blues contract.
