Manchester City are looking into a deal for Juventus forward Alvaro Morata after they were priced out of their chase for fellow teammate Paul Pogba.
The Citizens are expected to have an overhaul of their squad this summer with many of the club's veteran players set to be shown the exit door.
A report from The Star claims that the Citizens have given up on their pursuit of France international Pogba after Juve refused to come down on their £62m asking price.
Adding to his, the club have now turned their focus to Pogba's teammate Morata, who has been linked with a potential move away from the Old Lady.
Real Madrid currently have the first option on Morata due to their buy-out clause, but City will still give their best to lure the Spanish striker to the Etihad this summer.
