Edman joins Wigan

Rennes and former Tottenham defender Erik Edman has joined Wigan. The Swedish left-back was being chased with several Premiership sides, but Wigan have won the race for his signature.

"We lose a skilled, professional player and a wonderful person." Rennes spokesman Jerome Poupard told Sportbladet.
