The Old Lady are eager to bring in a new centre-back with the likes of Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci all into the latter stages of their careers.

According to Tuttosport, the Turin giants have joined a long list of clubs interested in acquiring the services of 24-year-old Mustafi.

The German international has been tipped to seek a big club move in the summer despite his struggles at Los Che this season.

Mustafi was part of the German national side that won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
