Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement to sign Juventus and Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah. The Blues are expected to have a busy transfer window with several of their first-team players being linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.
The Blues boss Antonio Conte looks set to make a raid on his former club after the Old Lady expressed their willingness to cash in on Asamoah over the summer, Tuttosport claims.
Asamoah had a good relationship with the Italian head coach, and his arrival could well add the much-needed boost to the Blues' midfield ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The 27-year-old appeared in just 13 games for the Old Lady last season as injuries hampered his chances of earning a regular role under Max Allegri.
