Tottenham Hotspur are days away from securing the signature of AZ Alkmaar sensation Vincent Janssen. The Netherlands international has caught the eye of several English club following his impressive debut season in the Eredivisie.
Janssen, 21, has been tipped to reach the heights of 'Ruud van Nisterooy', with a Premier League move close to completion.
The Mirror says the player spent a whole day discussing terms with the Spurs hierarchy in the English capital.
It is added that the North London outfit will now negotiate a price of around £12m to bring the Dutch marksman to White Hart Lane ahead of the new season.
The arrival of Janssen could well provide a huge relief to Harry Kane, who has taken up the goal-scoring burden at Spurs in recent seasons.
