09 June 2016 - 06:54

Chelsea are apparently heading the chase to land Juventus wing-back Stephan Lichsteiner. The Swiss international is set to leave the Old Lady after the club began their search for a new right-sided defender.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Lichsteiner has been a key player for the Turin giants who have gone on to win their fourth consecutive Serie A title.

According to The Sun, new Blues boss Antonio Conte is eager to have reunion with the 32-year-old, a player he brought to Juventus from Lazio back in 2011.

The Old Lady are also thought to be open to the player's sale with the club seemingly close to securing the services of Dani Alves from Barcelona.

A &pound12m fee is likely to be sufficient to bring the experienced campaigner to Stamford Bridge this summer.
