Tottenham Hotspur are apparently days away from securing the services of Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama. The Kenyan international was on Spurs radar last summer before the Saints opted against his sale.
Wanyama has since had fairly decent spell in the English league with discipline being the main concern having received three red cards through the campaign.
According to The Star, the former Celtic man is close to sealing a £12m move to White Hart Lane after Spurs held crunch negotiations with the South Coast outfit.
It will be interesting to see where the 24-year-old will fit in, given Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele had a top season in the holding department last season.
Wanyama appeared in 25 league games for Southampton during the previous campaign.
