The Blues have been hot on the trail for the midfielder in recent weeks with manager Antonio Conte eager to add more steel to his squad ahead of the new season.

Recent speculation suggested that the player could seal a move to West London with the Blues seemingly close to agreeing a fee for his signature.

However, with the sale of Miralem Pjanic to Juventus, Nainggolan feels more wanted at the Giallorossi, and this is likely to change his stance on any future move.

Nainggolan has four years left on his existing deal at AS Roma.
