Lewandowski wants a new challenge

A new challenge for Lewandowski?

17 June 2016 - 10:58

Poland striker Robert Lewandowski is becoming unsettled in the Bundesliga and is now considering a move to the Premier League.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • The 27-year-old is understood to be in talks with a contract extension at Bayern Munchen but is willing to listen to offers from other clubs whilst these talks go on.

Lewandowski's dream move is reportedly Real Madrid but with star names in his position already, he understands that it would be a move that would have to wait.

With regards to a move to the Premier League, Lewandowski was a boyhood Liverpool fan and with his old Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp in charge, this could be a move that interests him but only when Liverpool qualify for the Champions League.

With no firm offers yet, it is likely the Polish star will sign a new deal with the German champions after scoring 47 goals in 57 starts in the Bundesliga over the last two seasons. But this is reportedly against what Lewandowski really wants as he feels as though he has proved himself in the Bundesliga and is in need of a new challenge.
