Arsenal and Tottenham to sign Quincy Promes

Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both in the race to sign Spartak Moscow star Quincy Promes. The 24-year-old is at the top of both North London side's transfer shortlist for a move this summer.

Arsenal have already tabled a 15 million GBP bid for the winger and it is understood that Mauricio Pochettino, the Tottenham manager, is to make a counter offer of approximately 17.5 million GBP.

Tottenham have made Promes one of their major targets as the club looks to bolster their squad in preparation for the new season.

Arsenal have already made their interest public, with Arsene Wenger spotted at a Spartak Moscow game in recent weeks.
