Arsenal will have to pay a fee of around £51m if they are to secure the services of Wolfsburg playmaker Julian Draxler. The German international has been a long-term target for the North London outfit.
Recent speculation suggested the Gunners could come up with a £42m offer for the World Cup winner having failed in attempts to sign Jamie Vardy.
However, it is thought that Wolfsburg are reluctant to accept such a sum, and it will take the Gunners at least £51m to bring the attacker to the Emirates this summer.
Draxler netted nine goals in 34 outings for the Wolves following his switch from Schalke last year.
He was also part of the German side that reached the semi-finals of the European championships in France.
