Manchester United are weighing up a potential bid for Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci. The Italian is also a transfer target for Chelsea and Manchester City.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is eager to add an experienced head to his backline as he still has doubts over Eric Bailly's potential.

City are currently in the driving city to secure a £51m deal for Bonucci, but according to The Mirror, United could make a late raid to land the player's services.

The 28-year-old has racked over 270 appearances for the Old Lady since his move from Bari in 2010. He was recently part of the Italian side that reached the quarter-final stage of the European championships in France.

In addition to Bailly, United have completed the signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the summer transfer window.
