Arnautovic happy to remain at Stoke

Marko Arnautovic not keen on Everton switch

26 July 2016 - 16:59

Austrian international Marko Arnautovic is willing to stay put at Stoke City for the upcoming campaign. The striker has just a year left on his existing deal.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • The 27-year-old had his best season in a Potters shirt last term, netting 12 goals in all competitions.

Recent speculation suggested that Everton could make a summer swoop for the marksman with the Potters yet to resolve his future.

However, Sky Sports News says the player is fully focused at the Staffordshire outfit, and is happy to stay for the final 12 months of his contract.

Arnautovic has stalled on talks over a fresh deal with Mark Hughes' side reluctant to match his £80,000-a-week demands.

The Austrian joined the Potters from German side Werder Bremen in the summer of 2013. He was recently part of Marcel Koller's team who were knocked out in the group stages of the European championships.
