Christian Eriksen makes stunning wage demands

13 August 2016 - 09:33

Christian Eriksen is apparently demanding wages in excess of £150,000-a-week to commit his future to Tottenham Hotspur. The Dane has attracted interest from the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan in recent weeks.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Dane currently has two years left on his existing £32,000-a-week contract.

According to The Mirror, the 23-year-old has stalled on talks over a fresh deal with Spurs unwilling to come close to his wage demands.

Eriksen is holding out for a 400 percent increase on his salary which is nearly double of what Hugo Lloris is currently earning at White Hart Lane - £80,000 per week.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Spurs remain confident of negotiating a contract offer with the exciting playmaker.

Since joining from Ajax in 2013, Eriksen has notched 30 goals and as many assists for the North London giants.
