Joe Hart to leave Man City this month

17 August 2016 - 06:38

Manchester City are prepared to offload goalkeeper Joe Hart before the transfer window concludes on August 31. The England international is currently playing back-up to Willy Caballero for the number one role.

  • City boss Pep Guardiola is not in favour of the England international despite him being the first-choice over the past six seasons.

Sources reveal that the 29-year-old could be heading for a surprise exit this summer after the Citizens agreed terms with Barcelona shot-stopper Claudio Bravo.

Bravo is likely to take over gloves at the Mancunian giants with Caballero acting as his deputy, and this leaves Hart with no choice other than leaving the club for first-team football.

Everton are believed to be interested in the Shrewsbury academy graduate, who was dropped in City's 2-1 win over Sunderland in the Premier League opener.

Hart's blunder for England at Euro 2016 is thought to have influenced Pep's decision to bring in a suitable replacement this summer.
