Everton will not be pursuing the services of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer. The England international is currently on the fringes of the first-team with City close to announcing the capture of Barcelona star Claudio Bravo.
The 29-year-old has been strongly linked with the Toffees with manager Ronald Koeman keen on recruiting a top-class shot-stopper to his ranks before the transfer deadline.
According to The Mail, the Merseysiders have given up on their pursuit for the experienced campaigner after City demand a hefty loan package.
The Toffees were hoping to clinch a temporary deal for the player with an option to buy next season, but they were put off by the Citizens' £7m loan fee.
Hart is currently playing second fiddle to Willy Caballero at the Etihad, and the arrival of Bravo is likely to see his career put to a stand still.
