Milan not keen on Romagnoli sale

AC Milan reject Chelsea bid for Romagnoli

23 August 2016 - 05:10

AC Milan have rebuffed a summer offer from Chelsea for young defender Alessio Romagnoli. The Italian has been a good form for the Rossoneri since his switch from AS Roma last year.

  • Arsenal in the front row to sign Dutch striker

  • The Blues had earlier tabled a £30m bid for the 21-year-old with manager Antonio Conte keen on recruiting a youthful centre-back to his ranks.

But, the Serie A outfit have since knocked back the approach as they have no intention of offloading their asset just days before the transfer deadline.

Romagnoli has established himself as a key player for the Milan giants, and this has urged the club to keep hold of his services for the summer.

The youngster has represented Italy at all youth levels, and it is just a matter of time before he earns his maiden cap with the senior squad.
