Cerny ready for QPR?

23 January 2008 - 22:32

Tottenham goalkeeper Radek Cerny looks ready for a move to Queens Park Rangers despite being played more regularly under Juande Ramos. Cerny was a part of Spurs' side that defeated the Gunners 5-1.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip

  • "So far I don't know know much, I have just read something in the English media," Cerny told Czech Republic daily Sport. "If someone held talks, I don't know. I leave these matters to other people and concentrate fully on matches.

"Considering that my contract in Tottenham expires in the summer, I must be looking for a different club.

"And if QPR were it, then I would go there. I have no problem with the Championship, it is an extremely tough competition of a high quality.

"I don't want to speak in advance, I am satisfied at Tottenham and what is to come, is to come.

"I have always tried to remain professional and if Tottenham are not interested, Queen Park Rangers yes, then I will be glad.

"As I say - if something is going on, it is always good."
