England goalkeeper Joe Hart is ready to take a substantial pay-cut to join Liverpool in this summer's transfer window. The 29-year-old has been tipped to leave Manchester City after they recruited Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.
Hart is currently the third-choice shot-stopper at the Etihad, behind the likes of Bravo and Willy Caballero, and this has urged him to pursue a fresh challenge ahead of next week's transfer deadline.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool were earlier linked with a potential move for Hart, but City's £30m valuation put them off from making a notable bid for his signature.
According to The Sun, the England international has issued a come-and-get me plea to the German head coach as he is desperate for first-team football this season.
It is also believed that he would accept a significant decrease in his £150,000 weekly package to realise a move to Anfield in the transfer window.
Hart has appeared over 340 times for the Citizens since joining from minnows Shrewsbury in 2006.
