Roy Hodgson set to rejoin West Brom?

14 September 2016 - 06:03

Former England manager Roy Hodgson is set to be appointed as the new West Bromwich Albion head coach with Tony Pulis likely to make his way out. The Baggies struggled to get in their preferred targets over the summer, and this has urged Pulis to consider his position at the Hawthorns.

  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • Pulis is not impressed with the striking options at the West Midlands side, and has recently admitted that Hal Robson-Kanu was not on his shortlist before the final days of the transfer window.

According to The Mail, the Baggies have sent their officials to hold talks with Hodgson, who previously managed the club between 2011 and 2012 before taking over the England role.

His time with the Three Lions was sometime of a bizarre one as the nation failed to impress in the big stages - 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.

With Pulis set to end his association with the Baggies, the club have opted to recide to 69-year-old Hodgson, who led the side to a 10th place finish in his previous stint.
