West Ham United have reportedly expressed interest in signing unsettled Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi. The Argentine has became a hate figure at San Siro this month.
The 23-year-old has lot his connection with the club's faithful after he claimed in his autobiography that he would bring criminals from his home nation to kill 'members of the Curva Nord'.
Since then, Icardi has apologized for the comments made, whilst his partner and agent Wanda Nara has insisted that he would stay put at San Siro.
A report from The Sun now suggests that the Nerazzurri could be tempted to offload their asset in January with West Ham prepared to table a £25m bid for his signature.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is still on the search for a top-class marksman with loanees Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri yet to shine in the top flight.
Meanwhile, French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on Icardi, who has six goals to his name this season.
