Depay nearing United exit

Fenerbahce want Memphis on loan

05 November 2016 - 07:10

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are prepared to offer an escape route to Memphis Depay in the New Year. The Netherlands international has fallen out-of-favour under Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen

  • Depay, 22, has barely featured for the Red Devils this season with Mourinho reluctant to offer him a start in the Premier League.

According to The Guardian, Fener will propose a temporary deal for the winger with manager Dick Advocaat keen on the player's services.

The former Sunderland boss has recently insisted that Depay is too good to be on the bench, and he should pursue a fresh challenge in order to revive his faltering career.

Depay was recently excluded of his side's Europa League squad against Fenerbahce, and this only states where his position is under the 'Special One'.
