Isco denies contract talks with Real Madrid

17 November 2016 - 07:42

Spain international Isco has denied claims that he is in talks over a contract extension with Real Madrid. The midfielder has about 18 months left on his present deal at Los Blancos.

  • Man Utd expecting €80m boost with double player sale
  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Galatasaray, Salah starts
  • The likes of Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have all inked long-term deals at the Bernabeu this season, and this led to suggestions that Isco could be the next to commit his future to the club.

However, the 24-year-old has insisted that he has no clue over a fresh contract, and will rather focus on impressing for the remainder of his current deal.

"I do not know anything about my [contract] renewal. I do not think about that a lot because I have time left [on my current deal]. I try to do my job," he told Cadena Ser.

Isco scored a 96th-minute leveller for Spain on Tuesday night as they came from two goals down to clinch a 2-2 draw against England in an international friendly.
