Isco denies contract talks with Real Madrid

Isco unconcerned over his contract length

Spain international Isco has denied claims that he is in talks over a contract extension with Real Madrid. The midfielder has about 18 months left on his present deal at Los Blancos.

The likes of Toni Kroos, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have all inked long-term deals at the Bernabeu this season, and this led to suggestions that Isco could be the next to commit his future to the club.

However, the 24-year-old has insisted that he has no clue over a fresh contract, and will rather focus on impressing for the remainder of his current deal.

"I do not know anything about my [contract] renewal. I do not think about that a lot because I have time left [on my current deal]. I try to do my job," he told Cadena Ser.

Isco scored a 96th-minute leveller for Spain on Tuesday night as they came from two goals down to clinch a 2-2 draw against England in an international friendly.
