Serie A champions Juventus are prepared to trigger the release clause of Sevilla midfielder Steven N'Zonzi. The Frenchman is currently in negotiations over a fresh contract at the Estadio Ramon.

  • Arsenal & Chelsea want Junior Kroupi
  • Chelsea keen on signing Newcastle United winger

  • According to Spanish source Marca, the Old Lady are lining up a winter bid for the 27-year-old as there is a still a void left by Paul Pogba in central midfield.

Max Allegri's side were interested in the likes of Blaise Matuidi and Axel Witsel shortly after Pogba's departure (Manchester United) but unfortunately they couldn't finalize a deal for either player.

Witsel has been tipped to join the Turin giants on a free transfer next summer, but the club are still keen on pursuing a midfield anchorman in January.

N'Zonzi presently has a £25.5m release clause attached to his Sevilla contract, and it is believed that he could extend his stay on an improved deal.
