Chelsea skipper John Terry has hinted that he could leave Stamford Bridge next summer in a bid to prolong his professional career. The former England international has barely featured for Antonio Conte this season since the change to a 3-4-3 formation.
In an interview with The London Evening Standard, the 35-year-old admitted that he would like to extend his playing career even if it means to leave Chelsea next year.
Terry was offered a one-year extension with his beloved club earlier in the summer, but it looks unlikely he will accept another renewal, given his struggles to make the starting line-up.
The veteran centre-back has earned just six minutes of Premier League action since he sustained a minor injury in the 2-2 draw versus Swansea City in mid-September.
