Man Utd and PSG in talks over surprise transfer

14 January 2017 - 07:52

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have opened up negotiations over a winter deal for Manchester United outcast Memphis Depay.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Holland international has failed to earn sufficient playing time since Jose Mourinho took over the reigns in the summer.

According to The Sun, the Ligue 1 holders have contacted the Red Devils over a potential agreement for the winger this month.

Memphis, 22, has been a real letdown for United since his arrival from PSV in 2015, but the club will still stick with their £15m valuation.

French side Lyon have already failed with a £12m approach for the Dutchman, and the transfer saga could extend for a while with United in no stress to lower their demands.

Memphis has earned a mere 20 minutes of Premier League action this term while he has also been excluded of the matchday squads in recent months.
