Sevilla want Marcus Rashford loan

15 January 2017 - 06:10

La Liga giants Sevilla are prepared to lodge a loan attempt to Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. The England international has not had much playing time under Jose Mourinho this season.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder

  • According to The Sun, the three-time Europa League holders are weighing up a short-term move for the youngster after having watched his progress over the past year.

Jose Mourinho has previously snubbed a loan approach from West Ham United for the highly-rated youngster, and it is highly improbable he will leave the club despite his restricted gametime.

Nevertheless, the Spanish outfit are willing to play the waiting time until the transfer deadline with Rashford's teammate Anthony Martial being the other option on their radar.

Sevilla will look to close the gap on league leaders Real Madrid when they host them at the Estadio Ramon on Sunday.
